... how it all began

It is now almost 3 years ago that Tam and I (Susi) had the idea of a motorbike-trip. It shouldn't be just "a" motorbike-trip, it should be THE motorbiketrip of our life.

Tam and I met in Oct 2007 on the Annapurna basecamp trek in Nepal.  We had both been travelling independently until then and we ended up travelling for 5 and a half months together.  

One day in Bangkok: Tam was lying in his bed, "reading" a semi-dodgy magazine,
where he read the following:

100 things to do before you die

....Bungeejumping
Threesome
Dirtbiking in Cambodia
See the aurora Borealis etc.

So what did we do? We didn't have trek to the North Pole, we went to Phnom Penh, rented
two bikes and had an awesome trip through Cambodia. The idea of a longer trip was born. We planned to work for one or two years to save up for this adventure.

August 2009: I (Marc) see how Susi is treating her bike...

Suddenly I find myself in front of my computer, clicking on a button to buy one on my own.

One week later: I do my motorbike test..

I thought it might be sensible to start easy and slow, so we went to Rumania for a little Offroad-Adventure. :)
